Pineapple, Basil & Hibiscus Hot Tea
Ingredients
- 2 cups chopped DOLE® Tropical Gold® Pineapple
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh ginger
- 4 bags hibiscus tea
- ½ cup packed basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 4 lemon wedges for garnish
Directions
- Heat pineapple, ginger, and 6 cups water to a boil in a large saucepot over high heat; reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 15 minutes. Add tea bags and basil; remove from heat and let steep 5 minutes.
- Strain tea mixture through fine-mesh strainer. Serve warm with honey and lemon wedge. Makes about 5 cups.
