Breakfast tortilla with colourful fruits

How sweeeet is this then? With its exotic fruits and subtle hints of hazelnut, honey and cocoa, our breakfast tortilla with colourful fruits will attract everyone with a sweet tooth. Who said that tortillas always have to be savoury! This irresistible combination will add a sweet touch to your breakfast or make the perfect dessert.

Ingredients

200 g hazelnut butter

5 tbsp honey

70 g dark cocoa powder

1/2 tsp cinnamon

250 g vegan quark

1/2 pineapple

1/2 papaya

250 g raspberries

4 round whole wheat tortillas (approx. 25 cm in diameter)

Lemon balm leaves to decorate

Directions

To make the chocolate spread, stir 2 tablespoons of honey, the cocoa powder and the cinnamon into the hazelnut butter. Stir 1 tablespoon of honey into the vegan quark until smooth.

 

Peel the pineapple, remove the core and slice the pineapple finely. Peel the papaya, remove the seeds and dice the fruit. Wash the raspberries.

 

Brush the tortillas with 2 tablespoons of honey and warm them one after another in the pan. Make an incision into the middle of each tortilla.

 

Spread one-quarter of each tortilla with the homemade chocolate spread, place the pineapple slices on top of the next quarter, spread the honey and vegan quark mixture over the third quarter and arrange the raspberries on top of the vegan quark. Arrange the diced papaya on top of the final quarter.

 

Carefully fold in each of the tortillas to make one quarter and press together lightly. Decorate with lemon balm leaves and serve.
