How to Eat Grapefruit Properly

 

You can easily enjoy the grapefruit by preparing it in just a few steps: Firstly, cut off the ends of the fruit. Then place the grapefruit on one end and use a sharp knife to cut off the top peel and flesh down to the bottom, following the natural curve of the fruit. You can also remove the pips and seeds. Now cut the grapefruit by slicing along the skin between the segments. Alternatively, you can cut the grapefruit in half and eat the flesh with a spoon.

Would you have known? From the classic pink grapefruit to the red and white grapefruit, there are different flavours and colours that can be used wonderfully in different dishes. Good to know: Grapefruit and grapefruit juice can interact with certain medications. These include, for example, cholesterol-lowering medication, antihypertensives and sleeping pills.
