Ultimate Chicken Tacos
Like a great sandwich, a great taco gets its character from how you fill it. In this case, we’ve blended traditional with creative by combining chicken dusted with taco seasoning with some of the other typical fillings like creamy avocado, fresh salsa and cilantro. But then we go in an exciting and flavorful direction by adding our Ultimate Caesar Salad to the tacos. It just goes to show that it’s not that hard to breathe new life into an old favorite.
Ingredients
- 1 pkg. DOLE® Ultimate Caesar Kit
- 10 taco shells
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1/2 teaspoon taco seasoning
- 1 ripe avocado, peeled, and chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup fresh salsa
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
Directions
- Coarsely chop salad greens and place in large bowl. Add remaining kit ingredients, toss to evenly coat. Mix chicken and taco seasoning in small bowl.
- Toss avocado with lemon juice in bowl. Mix salsa and cilantro in separate bowl.
- Evenly divide salad into taco shells. Top with chicken, salsa and avocado.
